Album Description:

This album is a portrait of light within the darkness, and sometimes of darkness within the light. Many of these songs were sketched out deep in the midst of the pandemic as we grappled with the loss of loved ones, the loneliness, the stagnancy of that time.

“The Earth Turns and So Do We” tries to untangle a tight knot of intensely human feelings - grief, memory, and legacy; growth through stillness; love despite discomfort; regret, hope, healing. But at its core is a simple idea: time continues to walk us forward, to our delight and sorrow. The view will change, but the path might feel familiar. Those who were once with you will never truly leave. Spring will give way to summer, autumn, winter, and then - it will be spring again.

Produced by Kyle Swartzwelder, Erin Magnin, & Michael Natrin

Recorded and mixed by Kyle Swartzwelder at Black Forest Sound Studio in Glenside, PA

They were recently voted #1 “Most Wanted” at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase 2023.
